We’re               and we know it......

West Pittwater Rural Fire Brigade

West Pittwater has the following major pieces of firefighting equipment

West Pittwater 15 is the Pittwater second response boat, designed to work in conjunction with the Scotland Island rapid response boat.

West Pittwater 15 is a flat barge type boat, allowing us to get the vessel close into the shore, for remote area support.

West Pittwater 15 is fully equipped for rapid deployment, with an onboard pump and all associated firefighting equipment.

West Pittwater 15 is also the main platform for fighting boat fires and providing required logistical support to NSW Fire Brigades.

We have a number of portable pumps, recognizing the significance of portable pumping to our brigade.

The largest pump found on most stations is 7HP, while we have two 9HP pumps. We also —generally—have more portable pumps, with their associated equipment
